In Arizona, the Mesa Community College Tap Ensemble (MCC On Tap) performs the Shim Sham Shimmy in “A Most Excellent Dance Adventure” Spring of 2006. Thanks to Mary Wall for sending in this video which will be included in the Tap Murmurs performance video collage coming up on May 14th!
The members of the group Lindy Gakuen Osaka took a series videos of them dancing the shim sham wearing the traditional japanese cloth known as Kimono in different places in Japan. This the first video, taken at Kiyomizu-dera, a famous temple in Kyoto. To donate to the Red Cross for those in need in Japan go here.
